What will you be doing as a faculty member?

As a faculty member in the University of South Carolina’s College of Education, I’ll be contributing to the development and expansion of the Physical Activity Program. My focus will be on providing students with valuable, hands-on experiences that promote lifelong movement and wellness.

What is your area of research expertise?

My interests lie in physical literacy, inclusive physical education, and strategies that encourage lifelong physical activity. I'm passionate about designing programs that engage students from all backgrounds and promote active, healthy lifestyles.

How do you spend your time outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy staying physically active and spending time outdoors. I also value quality time with family and friends.

I am currently listening to Lorecast with Brad Chester that dives into the details of your favorite sci-fi stories. 

What is your advice for current students?
