Partnerships and collaboration between a variety of organizations and agencies are critical to improving education throughout the state. Through our combined strength, partnerships established by the College of Education are far more effective at diagnosing problems, offering solutions, establishing best practices and creating sustainable models than what any individual entity can achieve alone.
And although each partner brings a unique perspective to the table, we are all passionate about learning outcomes, and we are committed to the young people of South Carolina. As a result, we're making a huge impact on the economic future of our state.
Current Outreach Initiatives
Anne Frank House at USC
The University of South Carolina is now home to a permanent exhibition and educational program in partnership with the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, becoming one of only four partner sites in the world and the only one in North America.
Apple Core Initiative
As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, the Apple Core Initiative seeks to enroll additional education students from historically underrepresented populations into the teacher education programs at the University of South Carolina to fill both a capacity and diversity void in South Carolina public schools.
CarolinaLIFE
CarolinaLIFE is an individualized, non-degree program for students with identified, diverse learning needs (e.g. intellectual disability).
CarolinaCRED
Educators in every role seek continuous improvement but are often limited by cost, inconvenience, and a one-size-fits-all approach to learning. CarolinaCrED delivers a range of customized supports for capacity-building that accelerate opportunities for professional learners and leaders.
The customized supports we offer:
- Carolina Collaborative for Alternative Preparation
- Carolina Teacher Induction Program
- CarolinaCrED CORE

Center for Community Counseling
The Center for Community Counseling offers no-cost, quality counseling services to people who are unable to get help elsewhere.
Center for Educational Partnerships
