Background
Lauren LeJeune is an Assistant Professor of Special Education in the Department of Educational and Development Science. Her background includes experience as a special education teacher of students with mild to moderate disabilities and work as a research assistant on federally funded projects designed to investigate effective academic and behavioral supports for students with disabilities.
Education
Lauren LeJeune earned a Ph.D. in Special Education from Vanderbilt University. Prior to her doctoral program, she attended Louisiana State University, where she earned an M.Ed. in Special Education and a B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education (mild to moderate disabilities). LeJeune is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®).
Research
LeJeune conducts research on: (1) school-based interventions to increase academic engagement and decrease challenging behaviors for students with disabilities, (2) training and coaching models for supporting teacher fidelity to intervention procedures, and (3) the use of single case design methodology in research and practice.
