Hip-Hop culture has gifted us with much more than incredible music and dance forms. For many people across the globe, hip-hop has deeply impacted their lives by creating meaningful life memories, teaching critical ways of being, doing and thinking, and opening up new realms of life possibilities. Three donors (a USC alumnus, a USC professor, and a local music industry icon) have gifted us with memorabilia from their personal hip-hop collections. From signed copies of hip-hop artifacts, to record plaques, to extensive vinyl collections) these three collections illustrate how important the culture has been to shaping our lives.
