Background
As an independent branding consultant, Kristin Walker has collaborated with a number of organizations, including the NFL, Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Air and Space Forces Association, Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families, US Foods, Akima, and EventWorks 4D.
Walker's career includes roles at McCann WorldGroup's New York headquarters and the Cirlot Agency, working with clients like L'Oreal Paris, Wendy's, Northrop Grumman, and Bell Helicopter, focusing on strategic communication and innovative marketing technologies.

Research and Areas of Interest
Walker’s teaching interests lie at the cutting edge of integrated communications and AI. She focuses on how marketers must adapt all strategies, particularly digital, to attract prospective customers while optimizing for AI systems that aggregate and present data.
She is most interested in how AI transforms consumer behavior and the way information is found and digested, helping students understand these dynamic changes in the industry.
Teaching
Walker aims to build students into world-class practitioners, equipping them with cutting-edge technology and real-world experiences. She seeks to inspire passion for their work and the industry, preparing them to make an immediate impact in their careers.
Service
Walker is passionate about using her communication skills to serve others. She mentors students at various levels and supports nonprofits aiding veterans and military spouses in career transitions. Her expertise has also benefited the Air & Space Forces Association and the Air Force Historical Foundation, where she serves as the communications advisor, working to preserve the history and legacy of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Space Force.
As the current deputy command spouse at Shaw Air Force Base, she collaborates with the command team to assist Airmen and families by ensuring access to essential resources and connections on base and in local communities. Her 20+ years as a U.S. Air Force spouse fuel her commitment to teaching at all levels and fostering professional development opportunities for those she helps support.
Personal
Outside of teaching and consulting, Walker enjoys sports, reading, painting and family time. A former D1 soccer player at The University of Alabama, she supports her three daughters in travel soccer alongside her husband at their local club in Columbia.
