Capstone Experience
You'll cap off your studies by taking two high-level courses in media ethics and criticism, honing your critical-thinking skills and ability to analyze situations independently.
Internships
You'll have the opportunity to land internships in all communications fields, building on the broad range of classes you can choose from. Recent experiences include students working at daily newspapers and broadcast TV stations. And these are just some of the many opportunities for our students.
Classes
You'll learn the basics of the communication industry, and you'll have the ability to choose from classes in all other journalism fields, including print, broadcast, advertising, public relations and visual communications. Advanced Study
You can use your mass communication major as a solid foundation for graduate study. Further a deeper understanding for the application of communication techniques with graduate-level courses through our accelerated master's plan.
