Oana Vlad

Oana Vlad leads global brand strategy for the Coca-Cola. Oana is a believer that brand building and engagement happen when we genuinely understand consumers, stay passionately curious about the world around us, and have the courage to constantly experiment and learn. She is driven by values of inclusiveness, optimism, and excellence. 

Oana has been an employee of the Coca-Cola Company for ten years working in various roles in Marketing, Sales, and Operations. She spent most of her time in the North America Business Unit, leading innovation (Coca-Cola Life, Zero Sugar, Flavors, Craft), iconic campaigns (Share a Coke, Christmas, Sports and Entertainment Platforms) and portfolio strategy. She also worked in Mexico, managing the campaign for the 100th Anniversary of the Contour Bottle. Today, Oana holds her dream job at The Coca-Cola Company, shaping global strategy and marketing plans with some of the world’s best talent, both internal and external. In this role, she launched the Coca-Cola Company’s first NFT alongside other digital experiments, Coca-Cola Creations as a new lifestyle and innovation platform, and an improved Coca-Cola Zero Sugar globally. She credits Coca-Cola Zero Sugar as her favorite drink. Occasionally, a Coca-Cola Creation comes close. 

Prior to Coca-Cola, Oana worked in advertising and sales as an account executive with Cox Communications. She is a dual graduate of the University of Georgia: Bachelor of Advertising/ Public Relations and Bachelor of Romance Languages. She holds an International Master in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. 

Oana is a native of Cluj-Napoca, Romania and lives in Atlanta, Georgia where her favorite activity is spending time with family: four-year-old daughter and aspiring-performer, Ina, feisty seven-month year old, Sebi, and husband, Joel. She loves travel, culture, entertainment, and tennis.
