Place

Our campus — one of the most beautiful in the country — is a true point of pride. It’s important to showcase this beauty and represent our campus at the highest level.

Campus images are ideally suited for golden light, but night shots of buildings can also be powerful, especially when paired with a dramatic angle or an interesting crop. Make sure the photos in this category relate to the accompanying content. While photos without people can sometimes be more beautiful, people help give a feel for the spirit of a space.

When placing small text over an environmental photo, look for negative space, such as the sky or grass, or any other field of solid color. Always make sure the text is legible and follows color contrast guidelines.

Accessible Photos

Images must be accessible to those with low vision and those using assistive technology. To make your images accessible, follow the university's alternative text guidelines.
