What to Post
On social media, your audience is in the driver's seat. Share content that's meaningful and that your fans and followers will be interested in and — better yet — share.
Launching a social media platform is a breeze. The difficult work is the day-to-day management every account requires to work successfully and represent your unit well.
Social media management is a big job, but you're not alone. Tap into the resources and support within the Division of Communications and Marketing. You can access selections from the university's stock photography library, submit story ideas, request university-branded avatars and consult with the university’s lead social media strategist.
We're happy to answer questions, offer engagement strategies and help you maximize your social media efforts. You can also join the university's SocialU group. This collective, led by the university’s social media strategist, includes on-campus professionals who run university-affiliated social media accounts. To learn more about SocialU or to join, please contact the Division of Communications and Marketing.
What you post and how you post it will determine a lot about the strength of your account.

Be prepared to engage with your followers if you want engagement. Whether by liking their posts or messaging them, plan time for live engagement to build your following.
