Since 2016, the University of South Carolina has lit the top of Capstone in garnet to honor both academic and athletic achievements. First done to honor a Rhodes Scholar, it's shone for two women's basketball NCAA championships, individuals earning the Order of the Palmetto and many more accomplishments. Here's a listing of all the times Capstone has glowed garnet.
