Many sponsors have programs that allow only a limited number of nominations or proposal submissions from any one institution. If you plan to submit a proposal for consideration, your proposal submission must be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research, via the Research and Grant Development unit.

The eIRB is a web-based, electronic method to submit, track, and review Human Subjects Applications, including continuing reviews, adverse events, and protocol changes. The system was developed in conjunction with the partners of Health Sciences South Carolina (HSSC) and is designed to allow USC researchers to submit applications to the IRBs at other HSSC institutions.
Grants.gov simplifies the grants management process and creates a centralized, online process to find and apply for over 900 grant programs from the 26 federal grant-making agencies.
USCeRA is the University of South Carolina electronic research administration software system which includes electronic grants routing/approval and human subjects applications submission/routing.
The Office of the Vice President for Research is excited to provide no-cost access for USC faculty and staff to a web-based application called REDCap. REDCap is a self-service tool for building online surveys and databases quickly and securely through an internet browser. It also supports data acquisition, capture and management.
