Throughout the year, we host a variety of competitions for middle and high school student teams from various schools or organizations.
Our center enhances and supports the professional development of educators by providing hands-on workshops involving engineering and computing principles.
Classes of 6th through 8th grade students spend the morning engaging in various experiments and learning experiences with faculty and students, which cover various fields of engineering and computing.
Daughter Date Night is an annual event for middle school age girls and their guests to collaborate and design, create and test a solution to an engineering and computing challenge.
Open house is an opportunity for kindergarten through 12th grade students to experience how interesting and exciting engineering and computer science can be.
The Partners for Minorities in Engineering and Computer Science (PMECS) summer technical workshops are five-day programs focused on preparing high school students for success as future engineering and computing undergraduates.
We provide summer camps in the areas of engineering and computing for academically talented rising 6th through 12th graders in partnership with the Carolina Master Scholars Adventure Series.
