Background
Delvis Ingram serves as the Court Liaison for the 6th Judicial Circuit (Chester, Fairfield, and Lancaster counties) and support for Richland County. He assists the family court by tracking and expediting the legal processing of child protection and termination of parental rights (TPR) cases. Mr. Ingram is responsible for reviewing case files, preparing information sheets for the court, and assisting in resolving issues to prevent delayed hearings. Prior to joining the Children’s Law Center, Mr. Ingram served as County Director for the South Carolina Guardian ad Litem Program (GAL) in York County where he supervised, trained, and recruited new and existing volunteers. Prior to being promoted as the County Director, he served as a Case Supervisor where he supervised and assigned GAL volunteers to child abuse and neglect cases. Mr. Ingram also worked with the South Carolina Department of Social Services in Lancaster County for seven years as a Human Services Specialist working in the Child Protective Services and Foster Care divisions. Mr. Ingram holds a M.Ed. in Educational Management from Strayer University and a B.A. in English from North Carolina State University.
