Give

You transform lives.

When you give to the School of Music, you fulfill the dreams of talented, hard-working individuals. You foster innovative music projects, provide funding for music education and enable students to perform, enriching their perspectives and experiences. Your generosity fuels our drive to build a diverse and creative community of musicians, music educators, music industry professionals and music lovers. With your help, our students are inspired and encouraged to expand their horizons and dream big. When you support the School of Music, you play a crucial role in the transformative power of how music changes the lives of our students, who in turn enrich the lives of others.

Thank you for keeping the music playing!

Although we are not grads of USC, the university has enhanced our lives in many ways. We have appreciated the variety of performances offered by the School of Music and are touched by the energy and enthusiasm of the students when we attend them. Though we are not musicians, it is music that has brought us together with friends for many wonderful times.

Impact Spotlight

To advance Music Education in South Carolina, the Gretsch Foundation of South Carolina made a transformative donation to aid in the development of the USC Music Teaching Artist Certificate Program (MTAC). Gretsch, a drum and guitar manufacturing company founded in Brooklyn, NY, in 1883, moved to Ridgeland, SC, in 1984, and is today owned and operated by Fred and Dinah Gretsch.

Thanks to the generosity of Fred and Dinah Gretsch, more than a dozen participants receive full scholarships each year.
