Alumni who graduated prior to May 2016:
- You will need to request a Handshake account and enter in a personal email you wish to use with the account.
- Select University of South Carolina as your school.
- Choose a password of your choice.
- Enter in the First and Last Name you wish to use on the account.
- Enter in your highest level major, degree level and graduation date.
- You will receive an email asking you to confirm your request.
- Your request will be pending and a staff member should reach out to you within 2-3 business days about confirming your alumni status and setting up your account.
- To maximize your potential with employers, take time to fully build out your profile and complete the Handshake interest survey.
- Select Career Center to schedule an appointment or to access additional Career Center resources.
Alumni who graduated in May 2016 or later:
- You already have a Handshake account which is configured for single-sign-on.
- Your account should have been originally configured using your @email.sc.edu email address.
- Log in using the large blue UofSC Student Log-in box and the same network username and password you used as a student.
- If you do not remember your password, you may request a password change but note, it will be sent to the email currently in use on the account.
- Request your USC email be updated to a personal email address using the form below. All alumni who graduated in May 2016 or later should request to update their email address in Handshake upon graduation or as soon as possible. Please allow 2-3 business days for us to respond to this request.
