Advisor Professional Development Opportnities
UAC Academic Advisors have access to a robust, national award-winning training and certification program and access to advisor-specific professional development opportunities both on campus and at the regional/national level.
UAC Academic Advisors...
- receive online training and certification with rewards, allowing for travel to conferences or participation in continued education classes through the National Academic Advising Association
- have access to in-person training series and events, including a USC system-wide conference each spring
- can participate in Committees and/or Communities of Practice aimed at improving the advisor experience.
