Undergraduate Studies
Students in the Undeclared in Undergraduate Studies program receive specially tailored, intensive academic advising and support from an Academic Coach in the University Advising Center. Students may spend a maximum of two semesters in the Undergraduate Studies program. You will work with your Academic Coach toward the goal of moving into a degree-granting major that matches your unique strengths and interests. Undergraduate Studies advising appointments are one hour advising sessions that focus on:
- academic planning
- general course advising
- strengths identification
- strategies for success in and beyond the classroom
- campus resource navigation
The Undergraduate Studies program has a $250 per semester enrichment fee. For more information about program fees, contact the Bursar’s Office.
Please note that students who are part of the Academic Common Market are not eligible to become Undeclared. If you are in an ACM-eligible major and change to Undeclared you will lose your tuition benefit. Please contact Alexandra Weaver in the ACM office for more information.
Learn more about the Undergraduate Studies program by making an advising appointment to meet with an advisor or call the University Advising Center at 803-777-1222.
