The Committee on Inclusive Excellence in advising is a team of advisors assembled from across the University to further inclusive excellence efforts within the advising community.
The Mission of the University of South Carolina is to educate a diverse population of student citizens, each bringing varied backgrounds, career goals, and aspirations, through a comprehensive array of programs. Recognizing that “the quality of academic advising is the single most powerful predictor of satisfaction with the campus environment for students” (Kuh, et. al., 2006), faculty, professional staff, and program advisors are assigned to support degree progression and student success.
