The overall goal of the Oceans and Human Health Center on Climate Change Interactions (OHHC2I), Community Engagement Core is to Translate results from the four research projects assessing the effects of climate (temperature, salinity and pH), and alterations in trace metal geochemistry exposure on Vibrios and Microcystis aeruginosa toxins to develop and implement community-appropriate outreach, education and training products (e.g. predictive models, forecasts and visualization tools for drinking water, contact recreation and seafood safety) that will inform and protect the public.
