The Graduate Student Resources Hub serves to provide greater access to student services for graduate students and is located on the second floor of the Close-Hipp building, in Room 204. Through a collaborative effort between the University Career Center, National Fellowships, and the Graduate School, the Grad Hub houses the offices of Matt Klopfenstein, National Fellowships Coordinator, and Nigel Smith, the Career Center’s Manager for Graduate Student Advising.
All members of the graduate community are encouraged to stop by and learn more about the many exciting opportunities available to students in this space.

Resources and Services
Career Center
The Career Center's graduate student advising service provides assistance with advancing your career and professional development by providing individual career coaching and advising specifically for our masters and doctoral student population. We are here to help you establish and implement action towards your career goals. Whether you are considering a career in industry or academia, our objective is to aid you in any stage of your career development, and help you consider specific areas in which to pursue employment.
National Fellowships
The National Fellowships office was established in 1994 to provide innovative educational initiatives for exceptional students. For over 25 years National Fellowships has helped USC students successfully compete for prestigious national awards while enhancing their academic and personal skills through the application process. We are excited to expand our efforts to include dedicated support for graduate students.
National Fellowships also offers a Fellowship Peer Mentors program for graduate students. Fellowship Peer Mentors are current USC students who are recipients of awards from NIH, NOAA, NSF, and more. These students are excited to chat with peers about their specific fellowship experiences. Visit the Fellowship Peer Mentors program online to learn more about the program and Graduate Fellowship Peer Mentors.
