Bio

Sam Gross has overseen the construction of USC Theatre main stage productions since 2005.  In his current position as Technical Director, Sam supervises graduate and undergraduate students in the construction of scenery and props.  He also teaches several theatre technology subjects including Stagecraft, Computer Aided Drafting, Welding, and Theatrical Rigging. Mr. Gross received his Bachelor of Sciences Degree from the University of North Alabama where he also worked as a sound designer, lighting designer, sound engineer, carpenter, and actor.  Sam attended Indiana University, where he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Technology.
