Video Audition Submission Info
Auditions are required for High School Students interested in the Performance Intensive only.
Auditions should be self-taped with just your phone. No fancy equipment necessary!
For your audition, please submit the following:
- Up to two memorized monologues (no more than 60 seconds each).
If you choose to submit two monologues, please choose monologues of contrasting styles. This could mean one comedic and one dramatic, or one Shakespearean and one contemporary. We are interested in seeing your range. You get to choose whichever two kinds of monologues you select.
- In your video, please provide the following details:
- Introduce yourself by stating your name, where you go to school, and what town you
are from.
- Please state the character(s) and play(s) for your monologue(s) when you are introducing
yourself, then perform the monologue(s).
- For good tips on self-taped auditions, please visit https://www.backstage.com/magazine/article/self-tape-rules-from-casting-director-65931/. Please disregard any information that talks about equipment other than your cell phone. The most important consideration for you is that we can see you and we can hear you.
