USC College of Pharmacy announces the 2024 Outstanding Alumni Awards
Kyle and Pamela McHugh, 1995 graduates of the College of Pharmacy, have been named as the college’s 2024 Outstanding Alumni of the Year. This award recognizes pharmacy graduates who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to their professional area of service and dedication to the College of Pharmacy.
Kyle and Pame own and operate the McHugh Pharmacy Group with several community pharmacies located throughout North and South Carolina. The McHughs have demonstrated a deep commitment to the College of Pharmacy, providing experiential opportunities for students, serving as mentors, and supporting the college’s entrepreneurial endeavors, including the KPIC Business Plan Competition. They established the Kyle F. and Pamela L. McHugh Endowed Scholarship Fund to help ease the financial burden of our students.
Ranarda Jones, 2003, has been named the Outstanding Young Alumni Award recipient. This award honors a younger graduate who has exemplified dedication and excellence in leadership, citizenship and volunteerism through their professional and personal life while achieving extraordinary success in their chosen profession.
Ranarda’s career spans two decades of pharmacy practice experience including retail, long term care, and benefits management for commercial and government entities. She is the founder and CEO of Pharmacy Synergistics, PSyn, a pharmacy benefits management consulting company. Ranarda supports the college’s students through mentoring, engaging with student organizations and annual giving.
We are extremely proud of our alumni and the many ways in which they continue to support our students and our college.
