Moore School announces standardized test exception for fall 2021 Professional MBA applicants

In response to the challenges many continue to experience due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the USC Professional MBA program has modified its standardized test requirement for the Fall 2021 application cycle. Any candidate who satisfies the following criteria may apply for Fall 2021 admission without GMAT or GRE scores.

  • Candidates must possess at least two full years of professional or military experience, a 3.0 cumulative GPA or above on prior post-secondary course work and be able to demonstrate quantitative preparedness through previous academic performance or professional experience.
  • At the discretion of the PMBA program, candidates may be advised to take the GMAT or GRE to strengthen their application or to better demonstrate their academic readiness for the program.

The COVID-19 standardized test exception only applies to candidates seeking Fall 2021 admission to the Professional MBA program. All candidates who are granted the test exception will be admitted on a conditional basis and must enroll in a minimum of six credit hours and achieve a 3.0 GPA or above for their first semester to maintain enrollment in the program.
