Supporting Your Health & Wellness
At South Carolina Law, we care about your health and well-being. We recognize that law school is exhilarating, demanding, and at times, incredibly stressful, as is the legal profession. We are here to help. South Carolina Law is committed to connecting law students to wellness and mental health resources that will benefit them long after their law school experience.
Although it is not required, it is recommended that all law students have health insurance. The University's group health insurance plan is available to law students and their dependents. Additionally, in partnership with USC Student Health Services and its Counseling and Psychiatry Services unit, USC School of Law provides a full-time, licensed in-house therapist to enhance physical and mental wellbeing of our students.
