What’s your favorite thing about Columbia?
Don't tell anyone, but Columbia has grown on me more than I ever could've imagined. Like the law school, it's full of opportunity and community.
Any advice for current students?
Once you find that stride, stick with it! You know what works best for you. It can be hard to be selfish and do what works best for you when it feels like you're swimming against a school of fish all doing the opposite. Prioritize what you want, take the rest when you need it, and listen to yourself.
What are your hobbies or things you like to do?
When I'm not in class or the property journal room, you can find me teaching yoga at a local studio downtown or posting up somewhere with a good cup of coffee.
What surprised you the most about law school?
Everyone is in the same boat, no one has it all figured out yet - also the diversity in age demographic was a pleasant surprise. We have people from all walks of life!
What is an accomplishment in law school that you are very proud of?
When I was applying to school and throughout orientation and my 1L year, I was so fortunate to have incredible mentors that truly helped me every step of the way. My proudest law school accomplishment is being able to pass the torch and act as a mentor to those who come after me in any organization I am a part of.
