Marybeth Gorman Craig is an actor, director, intimacy director and coordinator, and text/dialect coach and has been teaching with USC’s Department of Theatre and Dance since 2015. 

A member of Actors' Equity Association, Marybeth has performed regionally with Playhouse on the Square, Arden Theatre Company, Walnut Street Theatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, The Hippodrome (Gainesville, FL), Philadelphia Theatre Company, Lantern Theatre, Theatre Horizon, 11th Hour, and Trustus Theatre.  Favorite roles include Helen in Big Red Sun (world premiere musical by Georgia Stitt and John Jiler); Helen in Fun Home; and Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire.

Marybeth is an advocate for consent and inclusion through her work in the classroom as well as in theatre and film productions as intimacy director and coordinator. She completed the Theatrical Intimacy Education’s (TIE) Educator Advocacy Program, and continues regular training with TIE and Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC). She provides intimacy and consent consultation and choreography at theatres and universities throughout the country, and teaches workshops on consent-based practice to theatre educators and administrators.

Marybeth received her Bachelor of Arts from Temple University, and Master of Fine Arts in Acting from University of South Carolina.
