The South Carolina Networks Consortium (SCNC) is a research lab housed in the Department
of Sociology at USC. We are a diverse group of researchers who use social network
analysis and network science to tackle a variety of topics, ranging from the origins
and operation of status and prestige to the social reaction to a nuclear detonation.
Faculty and student affiliates meet regularly to workshop their new and ongoing research,
conduct and attend seminars, and collaborate on cutting-edge research.
Please see the sections below to learn about the members of SCNC, view our upcoming
events and meetings, check out papers from affiliates of our lab, learn about our
current projects, and access software and data made available by SCNC and its members.
