Conference transport: Attendees will book their own travel to Columbia. If you are flying in to the conference, you can either fly:
- directly into Columbia (Columbia Metropolitan Airport CAE). There are two options to get from CAE to the USC campus/The Graduate Hotel. (a) take a ride-share, $20-$40, 20 minutes (b) if the timing works out, you can take the 91 bus ($2, 22 min + 15 min walk) to the Assembly and Pendleton stop. It is a about a half mile walk East down Pendleton from there to the Graduate Hotel. Or
- to Charlotte (Charlotte Douglas International Airport, CLT) and book the Charlotte-Columbia shuttle (about US$75 each way).
Conference accommodation: The university has reserved a block of rooms for the 30th May to the 2nd June at
the Graduate Hotel. We must make our reservations before 5/16/2024. The rate is $145
per night.
