The USC/Columbia Technology Incubator center serves as a regional hub for entrepreneurship and program development. It accepts and houses knowledge-based companies that have been operation for three years or less.
In conjunction with the Office of Economic Engagement, our team will train you to leverage USC's internal and external resources to help you manage your new venture successfully.
Our team will help you exploit the benefits and minimize the risks associated with startups by tapping you into USC's pool of startup resources. This includes access to industry mentors, seasoned entrepreneurs, venture capital, angel investors, legal counsel, office space, research labs, acceleration and incubation programs, business plan development, talent recruitment, and more.

The Office of Economic Engagement has sponsored past accelerator programs such as FiredUP, a 6-month-long, high-intensity boot camp for startup companies. Programs like these provide structure, mentorship, and seed capital to help entrepreneurs build and scale their startups quickly.
The Office of Economic Engagement offers the ready-built leasable wet lab space available located in the Horizon I research building.
