Priority Deadlines

Residency decisions may be rendered before the tuition deadline for the semester in which residency is sought if a Residency Certification Form and all supporting documents are submitted before the priority deadline listed below.

• Fall Semester - July 1
• Spring Semester - December 1
• Summer Semester - May 1

Students who submit forms after the priority deadline are encouraged to make payment arrangements (at the non-resident rate) by the Tuition Payment Deadline posted on the Bursar's website. 

Residency Certification Form Deadlines

The Residency Certification Form along with all requested supporting documents must be submitted prior to the first day of class (part of term 30) for the semester in which you are seeking Residency status or in-state tuition rates, regardless of the day your classes begin. 

2023-2024 Academic Year

• Fall 2023 deadline - August 24, 2023
• Spring 2024 deadline - January 8, 2024
• Summer 2024 deadline - May 6, 2024

2024-2025 Academic Year

• Fall 2024 deadline - TBD
• Spring 2025 deadline - TBD
• Summer 2025 deadline - TBD

Students that would like their eligibility reviewed for a future semester should complete the Residency Certification form for that respective semester by the priority deadline.
