Highlights
- Start in Santiago for a cultural tour, including learning survival Spanish and visiting important cultural sites.
- Experience a cooking class highlighting classic Dominican food.
- Engage with the local community through structured cultural experiences around the Dominican Republic.
- Experience the natural beauty of the Dominican Republic's beaches through a day trip to Cayo Arena.
Costs
Program fee: $2,400 (does not reflect the Capstone Scholars Adventure Grant)
Includes:
- Accommodations in the Dominican Republic
- Group meals
- Local Guide with 24/7 language support
- 2 USC Trip Leaders
Does not include:
- Airfare, insurance abroad, education abroad application fee, tuition, passport, some lunches, and personal spending
