Studios

The Patient Engagement Studio Patient Panels review projects and can act as co-investigators in projects. The panels consist of a Main Studio as well as Condition- and Population-Specific Patient Panels. The Main Studio is led by the director and initially reviews all projects prior to the creation of a condition and population studio. Condition and Population Specific Patient Panels are only created once funding is obtained. 

Condition and Population Specific Studios

Current Condition and Population Specific Patient Panels include: Rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, breast cancer and Virtual Patient Experts. This last panel has patient experts from South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia and was created to recruit and train patients who are underrepresented in patient engagement work and in research.
