Research and Teaching Interests

Dr. Dèsirée Vidaña has ample experience working in public health including research, education, program implementation, and evaluation. Desirée's latest experience includes research on how the conflict of interest affects decision-making and public health policies regarding tobacco control. In addition, Dr. Vidaña-Perez has begun to study the consumption of new tobacco products among adolescents and adults in Mexico and Guatemala.
