Ira has over twenty-five years of experience in the healthcare industry as a consultant and administrator. For the past fifteen-plus years, Ira has been a healthcare consultant at Elliott Davis, where he offers consulting services to a wide range of clients, including physicians, hospitals, private equity firms, attorneys, and other healthcare entities. His areas of expertise encompass physician compensation, HIPAA and data privacy, strategic planning, mergers, acquisitions, and operations. Before joining Elliott Davis, Ira developed his operational knowledge as the practice administrator for a multi-physician primary care practice in South Carolina. Ira brings his finance-related experiences into the classroom, helping students learn fundamental finance skills and then applying those skills to answer real-world questions.
