Congratulations to David Horovitz (Joe McQuail mentor), who received a SPARC award entitled The Role of GluN2D in Learning, Cognitive Decline, and Cell Specific Activity, and to Courtney Wright (Ana Pocivavsek mentor), who also received a SPARC award entitled Studying the role of kynurenic acid and sleep from neurodevelopment to adolescence. Additionally, Hunter Cox (Norma Frizzell mentor) was awarded first place for his poster presentation ‘Detection of Immunometabolite Derived Cysteine Modifications’ at the SC Academy of Sciences in March 2024.
