Congratulations to second-year PMI PhD student Isaiah Davis, who received a $1,000 student travel award from SC INBRE to assist in expenses as he presents a poster at the National IDeA Symposium of Biomedical Science Research (NISBRE). The biennial national meeting is funded by the National Institute of Health’s National Institute for General Medical Sciences, and will be held in Washington, D.C., June 16-19. Isaiah is also a 2023-24 recipient of SC INBRE’s Student-Initiated Research Project Program (SIRP), which awards $3,000 for one-year performance to students to apply for bioinformatics tools to biomedical research.
