The South Carolina Honors College offers courses, support and unique opportunities
for our students interested in law school and a legal career, whether they are pursuing
their juris doctor from USC's outstanding Rice School of Law or many of the other
top-tier law schools where our graduates are accepted each year.
Our Path for Aspiring Lawyers
In addition to the Honors curriculum and experience that prepares our students to
enter and thrive at the nation's best law schools, the Honors College also offers
two unique opportunities in collaboration with the USC Rice School of Law.
This “fast track” program enables students to receive an undergraduate degree from
the South Carolina Honors College, followed by a juris doctor from the USC Rice School
of Law. Students admitted to this program typically complete their undergraduate degree
and their law degree in six years. Learn more.
