Briana earned both a bachelor's of music and a bachelor's of science in education in music education from Western Carolina University in 2018, and later completed her master's of education in higher education student affairs from the University of South Carolina in 2020.

Briana most recently served at Louisiana State University as the assistant director of student leadership, involvement and civic engagement in Campus Life. In this role, she worked closely with students and campus partners to enhance the student experience through intentional programming, collaboration and community-building. Throughout her time at LSU, she became known for her relational approach, attention to detail and commitment to ensuring students feel both supported and challenged in their growth.

Briana is passionate about helping students find and use their voice, believing that every individual brings value to the spaces they are part of. She is especially interested in mentorship, leadership development and creating environments where students can show up authentically and thrive.

Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Briana is excited to return to the University of South Carolina and begin this next chapter with the Honors community. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor walks, baking sourdough and getting lost in a great book. She also firmly believes that a good taco (especially one from Cantina 76) can make any day better.
