Lauren Thomas, Project Director

Bio

Lauren Thomas has spent over 15 years in the community health field in the Carolinas, influencing attitudes on topics ranging from smoke-free policies, unintended pregnancies, and walkable communities. In her courses, she facilitates "coaching conversations" with students so that they can experiment with health habits in mindful and sustainable ways. In the community, Lauren serves alongside thoughtful partners who value time outside and seek to steward lands and waterways in order to benefit everyone.
