We always welcome motivated students, from pre-college to postdoctoral who are interested in joining us to help build a fundamental understanding of molecular processes in the environment.  My group and I work together to train new students to think critically about environmental problems and to design experiments to test their ideas in natural systems.  We develop new methods to use the tools needed for this task, including laboratory robotics, spectroscopy, chromatography and mass spectrometry; and we use these tools both in the field and in the laboratory.
