Pre-Health Virtual Journal Club
What to Expect
Due to the gap in opportunities available to pre-medical students during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this virtual journal club, led by and for the pre-medical student population at the University of South Carolina, will attempt to fill that void. By reading at least one current research article related to health care and health sciences and engaging in a virtual club meeting every week, students will be able to further their exploration of the career field. In addition, students can demonstrate to medical and other professional schools that they made the best of this difficult situation and found a novel opportunity to further their commitment to healthcare and science.
Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.
