What to Expect
The purpose of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated is to uphold the high ideals of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. Under the concept of Inclusion rather than exclusion, Phi Beta Sigma prides itself on providing membership to men who are qualified academically. Sigma men are men of scholarship who exemplify academic achievement at the University of South Carolina. Men that are friends and friendly to all around them to the fullest - offering up help, a kind word of support, or a smile. Finally, being men of service, Sigma men provide support to the community and most importantly to the students, faculty, and staff of USC-Columbia.
Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.
